Airpoints™ fast join

We are no longer offering temporary cards and have moved to a digital fast join sign up. Members who have picked up a temporary card will have until March 31st to link it to their account.

If you've picked up an Airpoints™ temporary membership card from one of our programme partners to earn Airpoints Dollars™, make sure you link your Airpoints temporary card to a new or existing Airpoints account within 30 days to make sure you get your Airpoints Dollars.

To link your Airpoints temporary card just follow the simple steps below.

New Airpoints members

1. Join Airpoints now. Airpoints is free to join,sign up here
2. Return to this page and link the Airpoints Dollars you earned to your new Airpoints account (make sure you have your Airpoints temporary card handy)

Once you have completed these steps, you can continue to use your Airpoints temporary card. You can also download the Air NZ app and start scanning your digital Airpoints card to earn Airpoints Dollars at our selected retailers.

Existing Airpoints members

Link the Airpoints Dollars you earned on your Airpoints temporary card to your Airpoints account (make sure you have your Airpoints temporary card handy).

You can link a maximum of five Airpoints temporary cards to your Airpoints account.

Existing Airpoints members living outside of New Zealand

1. Sign in to your online Airpoints account
2. From the "Claim Missing Airpoints" page (access from "My Balances" page), select to link the Airpoints Dollars you earned to your Airpoints account (make sure you have your Airpoints temporary card handy)
